Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Operate Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and modify control systems.
- Conduct welding repairs and residential painting as needed for facility upkeep.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures to ensure accurate repairs.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Assist with facilities maintenance projects including plumbing, electrical repairs, and general building upkeep.
- Provide excellent customer service internally by coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Ohmmeters.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting is a plus.
- Supervisory or leadership experience is preferred for overseeing maintenance teams or projects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, customer service principles, and safety regulations is essential. Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
