Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, lunch time, rest time and outdoor play activities for students.
- Assist the Lead teacher in her IB activities.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaboration with colleagues to create and implement educational activities that are challenging and engaging.
- Multitasking and time management.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be able to climb playground equipment
- Must be able to engage in physical activities with the children such as dancing, jumping, crawling, and raising hands over head, skipping, hopping, kicking, throwing.
- Must be able to perform light cleaning.
Technology Requirements
- Quick learner for software and apps: Brightwheel, Asana, Bamboo, etc.
- Basic skills to use a computer.
Attitude and Knowledge
- Cheerfully greet children, parents, and visitors, and be friendly with other staff members, children, and parents.
- Care about your activities and going the extra mile without being asked.
- Leave your personal problems at the door, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Good attendance.

Education / Qualifications
- College student pursuing teaching degree
- 3 ECE Units
- Prior experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:30
