What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor position at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort?
$500 sign on bonus.
Supervise work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive rooms in our establishment. Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action. Purchase housekeeping supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend dismissals.
**The following is a list of what is expected of all Housekeeping Supervisors**
~ Housekeeping papers
~ Payroll
~ Scheduling
~ Ordering
~ Checking of the guestrooms
~ Stocking the linen closets
~ Lost and found calls
~ Cleaning guestrooms when on schedule to do so or when short handed and directed by supervisor
