Communications & Event Coordinator
- Position available as either full or part-time.
- We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and personable individual to serve as our Communications & Event Coordinator
- The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while prioritizing projects and coordinating various events.
Responsibilities include:
- Communications to our membership and assisting visitors to the office
- Coordinating events
- Occasionally overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
- Website and social media updates and posts
- Creating and editing communication materials: Ex: Weekly E-Newsletter & Community Connections monthly insert. Compile and edit advertisements for the annual Fairmont Area Life Guide.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Friendly, professional, and able to work well with others
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign preferred
- Website and social media experience desired, or a willingness to learn
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
