About Fairlead Strategies
Fairlead Strategies is an independent research and asset management firm specializing in technical analysis. We work with institutional and individual clients who rely on our research to make investment decisions. We are a small, growing team. You will work directly with the COO and have visibility into how the entire business operates.
The Role
This is a broad role by design. You will own client service, keep operations running, support finance and marketing, and help build better systems as we scale. The right person is sharp, organized, and takes pride in getting things right. You will not be micromanaged, and you will be expected to figure things out. This role moves fast. What You Will Do
Client Service
- Manage client onboarding, account setup, and subscription management end to end
- Respond to client inquiries and own follow-through until resolved
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and activity in Salesforce
- Ensure every client interaction reflects a high standard of professionalism
Operations & Administration
- Manage calendars, scheduling, and logistics for senior staff
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, calls, and events
- Handle vendor relationships, office supplies, and day-to-day operational needs
- Anticipate problems before they become issues
Finance & Bookkeeping
- Track expenses and support invoicing using QuickBooks
- Monitor subscription billing and flag discrepancies promptly
- Assist with basic financial reporting and reconciliation
Marketing & Communications
- Maintain website content and keep client-facing materials current
- Schedule and post social media content across platforms
- Track engagement metrics and surface anything worth acting on
What We Are Looking For
- Must be located within commuting distance of Greenwich, CT; relocation assistance is not available
- 1 to 3 years of experience in operations, client service, finance, or a related field, or a strong academic background with demonstrated capability
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communicator
- You respond fast, follow through completely, and do not need to be chased
- You manage your own priorities and escalate when something needs attention, not after it becomes a problem
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities without losing accuracy
- Proactive by nature: you see what needs to be done and do it
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Salesforce, QuickBooks, or Bloomberg is a plus
