Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finishers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forming, pouring, and finishing concrete on a variety of structures including sidewalks, driveways, floors, and decorative stamped. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your skills in concrete finishing and related trades to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Set forms accurately based on blueprints and design to ensure proper size and dimensions of concrete structures.
- Install wire mesh and rebar reinforcement according to engineering plans.
- Perform surface treatments such as caulking, sealing, or applying textures for decorative or protective purposes.
- Read blueprints to interpret project specifications and plan work sequences accordingly.
- Work with carpenters, masons, other tradespeople during projects to coordinate tasks effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (trowels, floats, edgers), power tools (trowel machines, grinders), and heavy equipment operation relevant to concrete work.
- Knowledge of construction blueprint reading for accurate project execution.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with the operation of skid steers and mini-excavators or other specialized machinery is a plus.
Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
