Independent Living Wellness Aide, PRN
Variable hours based upon caseload/needs of residents
The IL Wellness Aide provides non-medical support and assistance with services and activities of daily living for Independent Living (IL) residents in their units. Ensure home life needs are met. Services include but not limited to; general housekeeping, nutrition, personal Care, and companionship. The PRN team member works on as-needed basis to provide coverage for scheduled client needs.
Qualifications:Qualifications and/or Skills Required:
Must be 18 years of age;
Excellent Customer Service Skills;
Must have a loving need to help the elderly;
First Aide and CPR Certified within 60 days of hire;
Must have excellent attendance and work history;
Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public;
Must be able to stand for the entire shift, and to push, pull move and/or lift supplies and equipment, max50 lbs.;
Must be able to grasp, pull, push, twist, squat, walk, and use both hands as described on the Job Analysis sheet;
Must work with various cleaning chemicals and must comply with Blood-borne pathogen exposure policy
