POSITION:  Grade 1 Teacher LOCATION:   Fairgrounds Elementary School WORK YEAR:  2026-2027 School Year  SALARY RANGE:        $49,000 - $100,386 Per School Year - Contractual and Benefits QUALIFICATIONS:    Teaching applicants must be NH certified or eligible to teach Elementary Education SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES A Teacher in the Nashua School District is highly qualified for the delivery of specified course content, uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively, professionally, showing respect with students and parents, expects students to learn and not fail, actively engages students in lessons that are planned around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills. Teachers implement instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. The effective teacher inspires and empowers students in their own learning and collaborates with their peers regularly to align curriculum and enhance the instructional environment towards gains in student performance goals.
