Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, forklifts, and welding tools to support production and construction activities.
- Manage the mixing and formulation of liquid and dry fertilizers, ensuring proper mixture design according to project specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Conduct heavy lifting, material handling, and outdoor work in various weather conditions to support manufacturing processes.
- Follow strict safety protocols during all operations, including power tool safety, equipment operation, and welding procedures.
- Fill Anhydrous Ammonia Trailers, Load Liquid Trailers and mix dry fertilizers.
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as loaders, forklifts, concrete mixers, and power tools in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently.
- Background in the agriculture industry projects involving mixture design, or heavy lifting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with safety standards related to heavy equipment operation, warehouse activities, and outdoor work environments.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques and basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Prior experience working with warehouse management systems or inventory control is a plus.
