Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to maintain a consistently clean environment.
- Oversee floor care operations, including carpet cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other industrial cleaning procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Train new team members on janitorial practices, safety procedures, and hospitality service expectations.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with hotel management to address guest requests or concerns related to cleanliness promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry or similar settings.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and janitorial equipment.
- Strong background in hotel or hospitality environments with an understanding of guest service standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning processes and custodial best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
