Principal, Fairfield Junior High School
2026-2027 School Year
Grades 6-8
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Direct and manage the instructional program and supervise the operations and personnel at the assigned campus. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with District policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hiring, supervising and evaluating teachers and staff
- Developing and implementing educational programs
- Overseeing extracurricular activities
- Developing and implementing student discipline program
- Establishing and communicating clear expectations for staff performance with regard to instructional strategies,
classroom management and communication.
- Coaching and developing professional capacity of teachers and staff
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in educational administration
- Valid Texas Principal or Mid-Management certification
- Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser
- Three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience and two (2) years of campus administrative experience required.

Salary : $76,800 - $104,000
