Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet quality standards.
• Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Use cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and floor care tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain proper chemical handling procedures by following safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform janitorial tasks like trash removal, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and replenishing supplies to uphold sanitation standards.
• Conduct window cleaning and pressure washing as needed to keep exterior areas spotless.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities across public spaces to ensure a pristine environment for guests and staff alike.
• Follow infection control protocols diligently to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution.
• Support team members with heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of cleaning supplies or equipment when necessary.

Experience

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques including chemical handling, sanitation procedures, floor care, window cleaning, and pressure washing is highly desirable.
• Experience with laundry services or managing linen inventory is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation and maintenance will help ensure efficiency.
• Strong understanding of infection control practices and safety protocols related to chemical use and manual handling.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
