The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to assist guests with reservations, inquiries, and any issues that may arise during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the property management system (PMS).
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively.
- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.
- Process payments and ensure accurate billing and posting of charges.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and escalate issues when necessary.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
