Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and maintenance history.
- Conduct residential painting, welding, and other carpentry tasks to uphold the hotel’s aesthetic standards.
- Oversee facilities maintenance projects, including supervising external contractors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics for diagnostics.
- Lead safety initiatives by adhering to protocols related to electrical work, welding, and other potentially hazardous tasks while supervising team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by electrical experience and familiarity with schematics.
- Skilled in welding, residential painting, and general carpentry tasks.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Supervising experience in a maintenance or facilities setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
