Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of public spaces, including floors, furniture, windows, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures to ensure a secure environment.
• Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy cleaning equipment or supplies to support daily operations.
• Maintain high standards of floor care through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces spotless and safe.
• Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistency and quality in cleanliness standards.
• Respond promptly to emergency procedures related to safety incidents or hazardous situations in public areas.
• Use janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for custodial work.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work, janitorial services, or industrial cleaning environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping management practices and hospitality industry standards is a plus.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely by understanding SDS guidelines and proper storage procedures.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all visitors and staff.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
• Prior experience with floor care techniques such as buffing or polishing is advantageous.
