What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Fairfield Inn & Suites?
Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep all areas spotless and inviting.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces including hallways, lobbies, and laundry areas by performing janitorial tasks efficiently.
- Follow established procedures for industrial cleaning when necessary to handle larger or more specialized cleaning projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of cleaning equipment to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus.
Availability/Working Requirements
- This position requires open working availability (the ability to work any day of the week)--only those candidates will be considered eligible
- The start time for this position is 8:30am. End time varies based on hotel occupancy.
