Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Manage janitorial tasks like restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and maintaining cleaning equipment in excellent condition
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as sweeping walkways or maintaining exterior cleanliness to ensure a welcoming environment
- Practice manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy furniture or equipment during cleaning or setup tasks
- Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and outdoor maintenance
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy items or equipment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with laundry operations and janitorial responsibilities in various settings
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and outdoor work experience is a plus
