The Fairfield Inn & Suites -Roseville, MN is looking for a highly enthusiastic, hands-on individual to join our management team as General Manager. This challenging position has overall responsibility for managing the operations of the hotel to maximize profitability, ensure superior service and product quality, and drive brand and value initiatives, hotel performance, and the development of people.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

· Covering Shifts
Financial
- Prepare annual and monthly sales and marketing plans to achieve targeted financial goals.
- Oversee, check and control all operating expenses and take action to control expenses.
- Identify capital expenditure requirements and recommend necessary investments to ensure and improve upon property operations.
Human Resources
- Organize and hold regularly scheduled internal meetings regarding sales, upcoming events, quality control, safety, etc.
- Oversee and direct scheduling of team members to maximize guest satisfaction while controlling labor expense.
- Develop and implement programs to improve team member's performance and morale in line with company policies and procedures and guest satisfaction goals.
- Establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to improve performance.
- Oversee and resolve any salary, disciplinary or human resources events.
Guest Satisfaction
- Establish and drive guest satisfaction goals by team members.
- Interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships.
- Inspect the property on an ongoing basis and take action to ensure proper guestroom cleanliness, function room set up, public room set-ups, overall sanitation and guest and team member safety.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- Strong work ethic.
- Schedule must be flexible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
