Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
- Assist with food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation procedures
- Set up buffet or serving stations prior to meal service and replenish items as needed
- Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any special dietary requests or inquiries
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Buss tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining area remains tidy throughout service
- Support catering or banquet setups when required
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth breakfast service operations
Skills
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and proper handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset with guest relations skills
- Basic culinary skills including knife handling, meal preparation, and coffee brewing are advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude
- Experience in restaurant service, catering events, or hotel hospitality enhances suitability for this role
