Breakfast Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Monday-Friday Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing guests with a warm and welcoming breakfast experience, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Previous experience with kitchen operations, food preparation, or guest relations is highly valued. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and food stations
• Assist with food handling, safety protocols, and proper sanitation procedures
• Set up buffet or serving stations prior to meal service and replenish items as needed
• Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner, addressing any special dietary requests or inquiries
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Buss tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining area remains tidy throughout service
• Support catering or banquet setups when required
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and service
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth breakfast service operations

Skills

• Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, and proper handling techniques
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for guest interactions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented mindset with guest relations skills
• Basic culinary skills including knife handling, meal preparation, and coffee brewing are advantageous
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude
• Experience in restaurant service, catering events, or hotel hospitality enhances suitability for this role
