Position Summary
Fairfield Inn & Suites Oakhurst / Yosemite is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, safety, and functionality of the hotel to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment and systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Maintain grounds, parking areas, and exterior appearance of the property
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel policies
- Assist with room inspections to ensure readiness and quality standards
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and records
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
