Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping staff to ensure consistent delivery of cleaning services across guest rooms, suites, public areas, and staff facilities
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality standards aligned with hospitality industry best practices
- Conduct regular inspections of guest accommodations and public spaces to maintain cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal
- Train new team members on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, janitorial equipment use, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment to optimize efficiency and cost control
- Oversee laundry operations for linens, towels, etc. turn around and quality standards are met
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of excellence in hospitality service, leadership, and teamwork
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or a similar hospitality environment with supervisory or leadership responsibilities
- Strong background in cleaning techniques, janitorial practices, laundry operations, and custodial services
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to develop schedules, manage inventories, and oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and supplies as well as safety protocols related to custodial work
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel settings is highly preferred
