Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
• Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces with proper chemical handling techniques.
• Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and elevators through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and pressure washing when necessary.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols.
• Conduct routine inspections for sanitation issues or maintenance needs; report damages or hazards promptly.
• Support custodial tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, manual handling of cleaning tools, and floor care to uphold hygiene standards across all spaces.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures including window cleaning, pressure washing, and sanitation practices is advantageous.
• Experience in handling cleaning chemicals safely and understanding infection control measures is beneficial.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks comfortably.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
