Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex issues accurately.
- Lead small maintenance projects or assist construction teams during facility upgrades or renovations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues swiftly and prevent operational disruptions.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with hands-on appliance repair, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical principles necessary for troubleshooting complex equipment.
- Experience working with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction processes or facility upgrades adds value to your skill set.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
