Breakfast Attendant / Host

Position Summary
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing and presenting breakfast items, as well as setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast area. This role ensures a clean, organized, and inviting environment while delivering attentive, genuine service to every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly, genuine, and professional demeanor, creating a welcoming start to their day
- Prepare and present breakfast food items in accordance with Fairfield by Marriott brand standards (including heating, assembling, and monitoring food quality)
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stocked, and visually appealing throughout service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked breakfast area at all times
- Provide prompt, attentive service, responding quickly to guest needs and requests
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns with care and urgency
- Follow all food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines
- Complete all assigned cleaning and side work duties, including dishwashing and surface sanitation
- Communicate any guest feedback or product concerns to leadership in a timely manner
- Ensure smooth and thorough setup and breakdown of the breakfast area each day
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
