Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience
- Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Answer all incoming calls promptly, utilizing proper phone etiquette to assist with inquiries and requests
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries with enthusiasm and problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and room assignments
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience and encourage repeat visits
- Uphold high standards of hospitality management by demonstrating excellent guest relations and customer service skills
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, welcoming, and professional at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred
- Strong customer service background with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a significant advantage for engaging with diverse guests
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and reservation software enhances efficiency in this role
- Experience in resort or hotel environments provides valuable insight into hospitality standards
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
