Duties
- Assist with the thorough cleaning and upkeep of public spaces, hallways, stairwells, and service areas to maintain a spotless environment.
- Support housekeeping staff by delivering linens, supplies, and cleaning materials efficiently throughout the property.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming to ensure all surfaces are pristine and safe for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of guest elevators, lobbies, restrooms, and other common areas in accordance with established standards.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards, reporting issues promptly for resolution.
- Support janitorial tasks such as trash removal, replenishing amenities, and deep cleaning projects as assigned.
- Follow all safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping operations or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report maintenance issues clearly.
