Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces to uphold sanitation standards.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and trash removal.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to infection control protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Conduct window cleaning and pressure washing tasks to keep exterior areas bright and inviting.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or furniture repositioning while ensuring proper manual handling techniques.
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience with knowledge of commercial cleaning standards.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and chemical handling procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, infection control measures, and proper use of PPE for health safety compliance.
- Experience with floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, or carpet cleaning is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Basic understanding of manual handling procedures to prevent injury during routine tasks.
