We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team in the hospitality industry. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk responsibilities. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries and transactions efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing excellent guest services.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management review.
- Operate multi-line phone systems, ensuring professional phone etiquette at all times.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the hotel premises during night hours.
- Set up food and beverage items for guests to experience complimentary breakfast in the mornings.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Familiarity with night audit processes and procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating multi-line phone systems and front desk software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
