Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Hotel Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, checking guests in and out, handling reservations and billing, and delivering excellent service throughout the guest stay.

The Hotel Front Desk Agent plays an important role in the overall guest experience by serving as one of the first and last points of contact for our guests. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and takes pride in creating a smooth and welcoming arrival and departure experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with friendly and professional service during check-in and check-out
  • Answer guest questions and assist with reservations, room assignments, and hotel information
  • Process payments, room charges, and billing accurately
  • Handle guest requests, concerns, and service needs promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to support guest needs
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with general hotel communication
  • Follow hotel cash handling, posting, and guest account procedures
  • Support daily front office operations and shift checklist duties
  • Uphold Marriott brand standards and hotel expectations for service and professionalism

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous customer service, front desk, receptionist, or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn hotel property management systems
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Dependable attendance and a professional, service-focused attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Preferred

  • Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience
  • Familiarity with Marriott systems or other hotel property management systems
  • Experience handling reservations, guest billing, and cash or card transactions
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
  • Experience working in a branded hotel environment

  • Flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability as needed

  • Starting at $13.00 per hour and up based on experience
