Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. This role requires excellent communication skills, hospitality management knowledge, and the ability to handle guest inquiries efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management experience are highly valued to enhance guest relations and overall service quality.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in the hotel management system
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
  • Process payments and manage billing accurately
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing guest communications
  • Support night audit procedures as needed for financial reconciliation
  • Assist in guest relations efforts to foster positive experiences during their stay

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Hospitality management background or hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if required
