Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments
- Lead and supervise hotel staff to ensure high levels of performance, motivation, and customer service excellence
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, occupancy rates, and profitability through effective revenue management techniques
- Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded
- Maintain high standards of guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Coordinate with human resources on staffing needs, training programs, and employee development initiatives
- Oversee night audit procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting at the end of each day
- Implement hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to handle guest inquiries efficiently
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, leadership development, and hospitality excellence
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in hotel or resort management with a strong background in hospitality management
- Extensive knowledge of hotel operations including guest services, front desk management, human resources, budgeting, and revenue management
- Experience in handling guest relations with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Familiarity with hotel management software systems and multi-line phone systems
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are preferred to enhance communication with diverse guests and staff members
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in night audit procedures is advantageous but not mandatory
