Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards of work.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime.
- Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of industrial machinery, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), HVAC units, and mechanical equipment.
- Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
- Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical/mechanical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high voltage), machinery operation, and facilities management.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with management on facilities upgrades, equipment installations, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Skills
- Strong management skills with proven experience supervising maintenance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems (including both high voltage and low voltage).
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for scheduling and tracking maintenance activities.
- Mechanical expertise in troubleshooting industrial machinery and understanding of HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles including safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills in English to clearly convey technical information and lead teams confidently.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues.
