Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Position Description:

Clean and service hotel guestrooms in accordance with established regulations and standards. Provide prompt and efficient service to customers in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Customer service background.
• Friendly, professional verbal communication.
• Ability to comprehend and execute all standard housekeeping procedures as trained.
• Able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 60 pounds.

• Follow established standards determined by management and government regulations, including OSHA, when cleaning hotel guestrooms, public areas, and when performing other duties
• Report all needed repairs, safety, fire, or security problems and concerns that might cause damage to guests, staff, or hotel property immediately to management.
• Transfer any lost and found items in accordance with standard hotel procedure to Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
• Submit completed, assigned rooms list, as well as any floor and room keys in accordance with hotel policy and procedures.
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning of guestrooms.
• Assist in laundry or with other duties assigned by management.
• Accurately complete end-of-day shift duties.
• Exhibit professional communication and team-member skills to accomplish maximum service for department and property.
• Comprehend how all departments within the hotel work together and affect each other, guests, and service.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints, resulting in customer satisfaction and developing loyalty.
• Recognize and follow company procedures and policies as defined in the Employee Handbook.
• Complete any and all tasks given by supervisor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
