The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Hagerstown is looking for professional housekeeping Room Attendants responsible for attending to the hotel facilities with integrity and attention to detail. Ideal candidate will provide a clean and orderly environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to company standards
- Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms
- Respond to guest complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Responsible for restocking housekeeping carts to ensure adequate supplies needed for cleaning assigned rooms
- Adhere to rules regarding health and safety practices
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to crouch, bend, kneel; extend arms over heard to perform cleaning tasks and work in confined spaces
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Knowledge of English language
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
