Fairfield Equine Associates is seeking a proactive, hands-on Facilities & Technology Coordinator to own the day-to-day operational readiness of our facilities, staff housing, fleet vehicles, medical equipment, and technology systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting the infrastructure behind world-class equine patient care.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized problem-solver who enjoys managing vendors, coordinating projects, maintaining assets, and ensuring that facilities and systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational readiness and upkeep of practice facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, grounds, and general building maintenance.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and turnover of on-site staff apartments.
- Manage the practice vehicle fleet, including preventative maintenance, repairs, registrations, and service records.
- Maintain inventory and lifecycle records for all medical and operational equipment.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, service contracts, and warranty programs for equipment and facility systems.
- Review and verify invoices related to equipment repairs, service agreements, and warranty plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison with facility, equipment, and technology vendors.
- Coordinate technology infrastructure with external IT providers, including hardware inventory, workstation setup, network support, and system upgrades.
- Assist leadership with equipment lifecycle planning, vendor selection, capital purchases, and long-term infrastructure projects.
- Maintain organized records for maintenance schedules, warranties, contracts, and operational assets.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in facilities management, operations management, property management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, project management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with equipment management, fleet management, facilities maintenance, or technology coordination preferred.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
