Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Southport, NC, for a Housekeeper at Fairfield by Marriott. The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, including making beds, replenishing towels and toiletries, cleaning floors, and sanitizing surfaces. Responsibilities also include identifying and addressing guest needs promptly, organizing housekeeping supplies, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards to ensure a consistently positive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Experience with Laundry management and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively and courteously interact with guests and team members
- Exceptional Organization Skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of housekeeping duties
- Capability to participate in and provide Training to improve service quality and enhance team performance
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Physical stamina to perform housekeeping tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality is a plus, though not required
