Hotel Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team. This position ensures smooth hotel operations during overnight shift and provides exceptional service to our guests. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable balancing front desk duties with night audit responsibilities. Additionally, this role includes assisting with early morning breakfast setup to support the breakfast attendant and ensure guests start their day with a great experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of all hotel financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests during check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage front desk operations, including handling multi-line phone systems and responding to guest inquiries promptly.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns that may arise during the night shift.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure all areas of the hotel are well-maintained.
• Assist with breakfast preparation and setup, including organizing food items, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the breakfast attendant and early guests.
• Support the breakfast attendant by starting equipment (coffee machines, ovens, etc.) and ensuring all areas meet brand standards before the morning rush.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing reports for management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or hospitality training a plus.
• Candidates without formal education are encouraged to apply if eager to learn, grow, and build a career in the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in night audit procedures and front desk operations.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is essential.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to assist with early morning breakfast setup and follow food safety and cleanliness standards.
