Duties

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Perform detailed floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless and safe flooring throughout the hotel.
• Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens efficiently while ensuring inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
• Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities, especially when handling industrial cleaning equipment or hazardous materials.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety.
• Adhere to all hotel policies regarding sanitation standards, security protocols, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with custodial equipment and supplies used in professional cleaning settings.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects safely, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks effectively. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
