Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all front desk activities, including guest registration, reservations, and check-out procedures.
- Ensure efficient use of hospitality reservation systems like OPERA and other property management software to maximize booking accuracy and guest satisfaction.
- Lead the front desk team in delivering outstanding customer service, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and multi-line phone system management.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
- Train staff on hotel emergency procedures, guest relations best practices, and proper front desk operations to maintain safety and service excellence.
- Oversee night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reconciliation and reporting at the end of each shift.
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and incident reports to support operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably within resort or hotel environments.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA and property management systems (PMS).
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—across multiple channels including phone communication.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, night audit functions, and guest services protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to solve customer service problems swiftly while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems, resort environments, and high-volume front desk settings is preferred.
