Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, including disinfecting fixtures, sinks, tubs, and toilets with proper sanitation procedures.
- Handle laundry services such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing items efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, and stairwells through sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and pressure washing when necessary.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety standards; utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Conduct window cleaning and floor care to uphold high standards of presentation throughout the property.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as waste removal, sanitation checks, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed diligently.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care, and chemical handling.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or furniture safely.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
- Experience with cleaning equipment operation and maintenance is desirable.
- Understanding of infection control procedures and sanitation standards required in hospitality environments.
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Weekends are required
