Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team, specifically focused on cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms to the highest standards. This role plays a vital part in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest. The position is physically demanding and requires full availability, including weekends.
- Housekeepers begin their shift at 9:00 a.m. and work until all assigned rooms are completed.
- Daily workload may vary depending on occupancy and operational needs, so end times are not fixed and can change from day to day.
Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms, including bedrooms and bathrooms, in accordance with company standards
- Thoroughly sanitize bathrooms (toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors)
- Change bed linens, make beds neatly, and replace towels and amenities
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and ensure all surfaces are spotless and presentable
- Restock guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee items, and linens
- Remove trash and ensure rooms are properly reset for incoming guests
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to management promptly
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and privacy policies while working in guest areas
Requirements & Skills
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to clean efficiently without compromising quality
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned rooms within required timeframes
- Good physical stamina — this is labor-intensive work requiring standing, bending, lifting, pushing carts, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Dependable with full availability, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
