What You'll Do
- Perform screening mammography exams
- Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images
- Ensure imaging meets radiologist diagnostic standards
- Provide clear communication and reassurance during exams
- Follow imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and technologist teammates
You are someone who:
- Enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during medical procedures
- Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality imaging
- Communicates clearly and compassionately with patients
- Works well in a team-based healthcare environment
Required
- ARRT (R) certification
- Virginia Radiologic Technologist license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Mammography experience
- DXA experience (training may be available)
