Patient Care Coordinator – Oral Surgery
Fairfax Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is a busy, multi-location specialty practice seeking a professional and organized Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our patients.
This role drives the day. You keep the schedule full, patients informed, and operations running on time. If you are confident on the phone, calm under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced front desk environment, you’ll do well here.
Responsibilities
- Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments
- Greet, check in, and check out patients
- Verify insurance and collect payments
- Review treatment plans and financial policies
- Coordinate referrals with dental offices
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Help manage and optimize the daily schedule
- Support doctors and clinical teams throughout the day
Qualifications
- Front desk, dental, or medical experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable discussing finances and insurance
- Organized, dependable, and detail oriented
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Willing to travel between offices if required
- High school diploma or equivalent
