What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Fairfax Foot and Ankle Specialists?
-Perform laser and shockwave procedures on patients for numerous medical conditions including pain and nail fungus. Each laser takes about 10 minutes and requires motion of hand/wrist to avoid overheating on patient.
-Be friendly and social with the patients while doing laser.
-Front desk duties including checking in and out patients, processing payments, answering phone calls, insurance verification.
-Other duties include fitting patients with customized durable medical equipment, obtaining a medical history from patients and performing radiographs amongst other tasks.
-Our typical hours are 9:30am - 7pm
-Experience as a medical assistant not mandatory
Salary : $19 - $25
