Summary

Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.

Four (4) years of experience in the field of the assigned office or department, two (2) years of which must have been in the technical function to which assigned.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge of practices, procedures, and policies of the assigned office.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and reach sound conclusions.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to deal quickly and accurately with quantitative information and verify the correctness of actions.
Major Duties/Essential Functions
- Performs a variety of moderately specialized and complex, operational, administrative, and logistical tasks for a specific function with a divisionwide and limited clientele.
- As the office or department representative, oversees, supports, and assists with assigned divisionwide activities or events, some of which may require contact and coordination with other departments, outside organizations, and the business community.
- Carries out duties requiring the application of predetermined practices and policies, and adaptation of policies, procedures, and regulations.
- May propose changes to said processes and procedures.
- Plans and implements training related to the assigned program.
- Produces ad hoc and recurring complex management reports and statistics, receives phone and written inquiries and requests, and provides information or takes appropriate action based on prescribed procedures and policies.
- May serve as the office resource in computer utilization and applications and organizes training for the assigned office staff.
- May conduct special studies.
- Performs related duties as required or assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
