$15,000 Sign-On Bonus
Competitive salary based on experience (law enforcement, military, college, or language proficiency may increase pay).
Full academy training provided – no prior police experience required.
What You’ll Do
- Enforce laws, maintain public safety, and respond to emergencies.
- Patrol assigned areas by vehicle or foot to provide security and crime prevention.
- Conduct criminal and traffic investigations.
- Make arrests and testify in court.
- Provide first aid and assist during emergencies.
- Partner with residents, businesses, and government agencies to improve community safety.
- Work varied shifts (days, evenings, midnights) with alternating schedules.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- U.S. Citizen (or permanent resident with naturalization pending).
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 20 years old (within 180 days of 21st birthday by academy start).
- Able to pass background check, polygraph, physical ability test, and medical exam.
Preferred:
- Associate degree (60 credits) or higher in criminal justice or related field.
- Prior military or law enforcement experience.
- Foreign language or ASL proficiency.
- Current police certification.
