Responsibilities

Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional for our Kirkland location.

Position Summary - (Schedule Wed-Sat 10 Hour Shifts)

The Substance Use Disorder Professional completes Substance Use evaluations (American Society of Addiction Medicine, ASAM assessment), conducts recovery-oriented group therapy, supervises SUDPTs, and provides training to case managers on the proper administration of an ASAM evaluation. Utilizes evidence based practice in assisting patients achieve their optimal level of mental and emotional health with a focus on chemical dependency issues.

Education

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in human services or related field.
  • Current WA State independent license in a Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP).
  • Meets criteria to be an Approved Supervisor per WAC 246-811-049. (Preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an SUDP and completing ASAM assessments.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an inpatient or residential setting.
