Faircrest Veterinary Care is the place for you! We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our small, compassionate team. Preference would be CVT certification.

- Faircrest Veterinary Care is a privately owned practice located on Madison's west side.
- We are a small team consisting of two doctors with 1 experienced CVT's and 2 experienced veterinary assistants.

Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarian with handling and other tasks during appointments
- Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostics
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments
- Provide compassionate care and comfort to animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and wellness
- Greet clients warmly and create a positive first impression
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage daily calendar flow
- Check clients in and out, process invoices and payments
- Involvement in anesthesia for pets during surgical and dental procedures
Requirements:
- Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician (CVT preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Detail oriented with excellent organization skills.
