SALARY: $24.00 per hour

About the Position

Fairchild is seeking enthusiastic and talented Seasonal Actors to join our team for a dynamic Halloween event. Actors will be Scare Actors in the Garden of Shadows event. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for performance, improvisation, and guest engagement.

Position Responsibilities

• Must be available on October 24^th and 25^th for performances, and all rehearsals (TBD)
• Perform scripted and improvised scenes in character throughout the Garden
• Portray haunted tram tour guides and deliver scripted narration during tram rides
• Engage guests with energy, professionalism, and creativity
• Attend rehearsals and costume fittings prior to event launch
• Collaborate with fellow performers and event staff to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain character integrity and always uphold safety standards
• Assist with setup and breakdown of performance areas as needed

Ideal Candidate Qualities

• Background in theater, performance, or themed entertainment
• Strong improvisational and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in costume and makeup
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Able to memorize and deliver lines with confidence and clarity
• Adaptable and enthusiastic in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous acting or performance experience preferred
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and Halloween week
• Ability to walk, stand, and perform for extended periods
• Ability to lift up-to 25 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
