What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech-Language Pathologist position at Fairchild Medical Center?
We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team!
You will plan speech therapy programs to improve patient quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Communicate with referring physicians about the patient’s progress.
- Record and document patient care services in an EHR (EPIC) in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
- Current California speech-language therapy license or have the ability to obtain one.
- Graduate of Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders school, accredited by Council on Academic Accreditation
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66.25 - $75.50 per hour
